The breeder society is responsible for the marketing of the Drakensberger breed. The marketing ranges across a wide variety of activities that include the following:
Advertisements in agricultural magazines
The hosting of the annual national Drakensberger auction during the last week of April agricultural magazines
A Drakensberger Nampo harvest day booth and exhibition
The generation of breed journals
Supplements to agricultural magazines
The making of marketing and promotional material such as name bords, dvd’s, clothing, etc.
